Troy Food and Film Festival. June 28-29, 2008.

Save the date....The Troy Food and Film Festival will be a fabulous party on Saturday and Sunday, June 28 –29, in Troy. Sponsored by the Troy Community Food Coop and Troy Cinema, this will be a weekend brimming with attention to food and films. On Saturday afternoon, there will be a celebration in Barker Park (3 St. and State St. in downtown Troy) with food, music, performance, and events for children. Later, at 7pm that evening, films for foodies will be shown at the Arts Center, including some by local filmmakers. The Troy Cinema and Visual Arts Group will also show the runaway successful short documentary The Real Dirt on Farmer John which has garnered so far 31 awards worldwide. Next day, the celebration will continue with a fundraising Sunday Brunch at the Martinez Gallery at noon.
